Inspiration
Behind Book
The idea for “Love of a Rockstar came to me out of the blue. After writing my first novel that had
paranormal undertones, I wanted to break into a new genre. Since I am a huge fan of author’s like
Lisa Kleypas, my mind immediately went to Contemporary Romance. Since I was dating a musician at the
time, he inspired the plot line.
Although our love story was nothing like Marlene and Luke’s, my
imagination took control and I started to write. That was almost six months ago. I took a “write by the seat of your pants” approach, which in
the end worked out for the best. I truly feel as if the character’s guided me
through the novel and let me tell their love story for the world to hear.
